Course Summary

ATEX training focuses on preventing explosions in workplaces where explosive atmospheres may occur due to flammable substances like gases, vapours, or dusts. It covers the ATEX Directives, which are EU regulations for the safe use of equipment and protective systems in hazardous areas. 

The training aims to help individuals understand the risks, prevention methods, and compliance requirements of ATEX directives which requires employers to provide suitable and sufficient training to protect workers from fire and explosion risks related to dangerous substances and potentially explosive atmospheres.

To assist employers in achieving compliance, Gexcon has developed a cost effective, unique, interactive online training tool which allows employers and employees to improve their knowledge on a specialised subject.
