    Course Summary

This course is the online version of the EFFECTS training. As a public virtual class, it is open to participants from different organisations, not limited to company-specific groups.

This course is aimed at introducing the principles of consequence modelling and EFFECTS user interface and giving an overview of all the models available within the software: release, pool evaporation, fire, explosion, dispersion, damage, and combined models. The course provides a general theoretical background that is consolidated with multiple practical exercises that will be elaborated during the course. Participants are required to practice and apply their new knowledge of the software through hands-on exercises.
