This course is the virtual classroom version of the RISKCURVES training. As a public virtual class, it is open to participants from different organisations, not limited to company-specific groups.

The RISKCURVES training follows the EFFECTS training and provides information about what a “Quantitative Risk Assessment” (QRA) actually consists of, which risk criteria can be used, and of course how to conduct it using RISKCURVES. The training provides extensive information regarding RISKCURVES’ functionality and how to apply the software in QRA studies.
This course builds on concepts covered in EFFECTS training. Completion of EFFECTS training is therefore MANDATORY prior to booking.

- Follow the workflow from setup to results
- Use various functionalities with confidence
- Apply the tools effectively in their projects

This course is intended for people who carry out Risk assessments with RISKCURVES, as well as those who work closely with colleagues using the software.
It is particularly relevant for:
- Safety engineers and consultants in risk consultancy companies
- Engineers working in process facilities such as oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, utilities, energy transition facilities (e.g. hydrogen, ammonia, BESS, CCUS), manufacturing, and more
- Professionals from regulatory bodies
- Employees of engineering companies
- Students seeking knowledge of RISKCURVES

This course builds on concepts covered in EFFECTS training. Completion of EFFECTS training is therefore MANDATORY prior to booking.
The course is suitable both for new users and for experienced users who have not previously attended a formal course or who would like a refresher.
- Participants will use their own PC and licence.
- If you do not have a licence, a temporary cloud-based licence will be provided for the training; this will be soft-key protected and stand-alone.
- We recommend that RISKCURVES is installed by a user with administration privileges.
- We will use Microsoft Teams
- A webcam and headphone are recommended
- Your internet connection should be stable and the bandwidth should be enough to be able to have video conferences

By completing this course, attendees will be able to use RISKCURVES in process safety projects, gaining:
